Khaberni - US President Donald Trump, this Monday evening, and for the first time, revealed the list of four strategic objectives of the extensive military operation led by Washington in cooperation with Tel Aviv against Iran since last Saturday morning.
In a decisive statement from the White House, Trump outlined the combat priorities for his forces:
Destroying missile power: The president's first goal was to destroy all of Iran's ballistic missile capabilities to neutralize its regional threat.
Paralyzing naval capabilities: The second goal was the complete elimination of the Iranian naval force, to ensure the security of international shipping lanes.
Neutralizing the nuclear option: Trump thirdly emphasized preventing Tehran (which he described as the foremost supporter of terrorism) from permanently acquiring nuclear weapons.
Cutting off the regime's arms: The fourth goal was to prevent the Iranian regime from funding and leading what he described as "terrorist armies" outside its borders, directly referring to Hezbollah and Hamas.
Trump justified these goals as necessary for restoring stability to the region and protecting the interests of allies, considering that the Iranian regime had excessively threatened global security. This announcement comes on the third day of the war, giving a clear signal that operations will not stop before undermining these four pillars.
