Khaberni - The Qatari Ministry of Defense announced on Monday, the successful interception by the Emiri Air Forces of two (SU24) aircraft coming from Iran.
It also confirmed the successful interception of 7 ballistic missiles by air defenses, and - as well - the interception of 5 drones by the Qatari Emiri Air Forces and the Qatari Emiri Naval Forces, which targeted several areas in its territory today.
It emphasized that the handling of the threat occurred immediately upon detection according to the operational plan, where all missiles were intercepted before reaching their intended targets.
The Qatari Ministry of Defense assured that its armed forces possess all the capabilities and resources necessary to protect the sovereignty of the state and its territories and to firmly confront any external threat.
It also advised citizens, residents, and visitors to remain calm and to adhere to the instructions issued from security authorities and not to follow rumors, relying instead on data and information released from official bodies.
