Khaberni - A horrific crime occurred in Gharbia Governorate in Egypt after a husband killed his wife's brother due to family disputes following his exit from the mosque.
A security force moved to the location of the report, and it was found that the victim had a fatal stab wound from a sharp weapon, and fractures in the head due to being hit with a "club".
Investigations clarified that the main suspect (the husband) and his brother had followed the victim after he left the mosque following the Tarawih prayers, and attacked him with the weapon until he breathed his last, then they fled.
Following legal procedures, the husband and one of his brothers were arrested, the weapon used in the crime was secured, and the body was transferred to the general hospital's morgue for forensic examination and to prepare the necessary report.
The Criminal Investigation Department was instructed to inquire into the circumstances and details of the incident through monitoring surveillance cameras in the area.
The locals mourned the deceased in a state of sadness and grief at the family's cemetery in Mehallat Khalf village, a report of the incident was filed, and the relevant authorities were notified to conduct the investigations.
