Khaberni – The Lebanese Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, announced a ban on Hezbollah's military and security activities, declaring them illegal, and confirming that the party’s role should be strictly political.
Salam stated in official remarks that the government rejects any military or security operations launched from Lebanese territory outside the framework of legitimate institutions, demanding that security forces prevent any attack from within Lebanese territory.
The Prime Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to a ceasefire declaration and efforts to resume negotiations, within the framework of preserving state sovereignty and restricting arms to official entities.
