Khaberni - The Bachelor’s program in Cybersecurity at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan has received Jordanian accreditation for academic programs from the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission, pursuant to the decision of the Commission's Council No. (2026/4/71) issued in its session held on 22/2/2026, for a period of three years.
This achievement culminates the university’s and the Faculty of Science and Information Technology’s journey in entrenching a culture of quality and academic excellence, and reflects the program's commitment to meeting the requirements and standards of national accreditation, especially concerning the curriculum, learning outcomes, the efficiency of the academic staff, infrastructure, and quality assurance systems.
The Cybersecurity program is among the first specialized programs in the kingdom to receive Jordanian accreditation, amid the rapid expansion in digital transformation and information security disciplines, which enhances the university’s standing in offering quality programs that meet the needs and requirements of the local and regional labor market.
In line with its strategic vision, and in harmony with the university's vision, the Faculty of Science and Information Technology applied for Jordanian accreditation for all its academic programs, striving towards achieving comprehensive accreditation that reflects its steadfast commitment to quality and academic excellence standards.
On his part, Professor Dr. Ayesh Al-Hroub, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Information Technology, expressed his pride in the Cybersecurity program obtaining Jordanian accreditation, affirming that this achievement embodies the college's and the university's commitment to applying the highest standards of quality and academic excellence. It reflects the fruit of working as a unified team with sustainable strategic planning. He pointed out that this accreditation is a pivotal step towards enhancing graduates' readiness for the local and regional job market and keeping pace with the rapid developments in the fields of cybersecurity and modern digital technologies.
