Khaberni - The spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the intercepted Iranian attacks targeted civilian infrastructure, confirming that Iran must pay a price for this blatant attack on the Qatari people.
He added in an interview with CNN that Qatari fighter jets shot down drones and other projectiles, clarifying that such an attack cannot go unanswered.
The spokesperson explained that Doha is not currently communicating with the Iranian government, noting that "eventually this crisis will be resolved at the negotiation table."
He indicated that Qatari maritime and land energy facilities are protected.
