Khaberni - The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced on Monday the fall of several American warplanes and the complete survival of their crews. The official spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense said in an official statement released by the Kuwait News Agency "KUNA" that the relevant authorities immediately began search and rescue operations, where the crews were evacuated and taken to the hospital to check on their health condition and provide the necessary medical care, stating that their condition is stable. The official spokesperson added that direct coordination was made with the American forces regarding the circumstances of the incident, and joint technical measures were taken. He confirmed that the relevant authorities are continuing investigations to determine the causes of the incident, urging to obtain information from official sources.
Video clips showed the crash of an American F-15 plane in the skies of Kuwait and the survival of its pilots who executed a parachute jump, while they received assistance from security forces upon landing safely on the ground, as reported by the official Israeli broadcasting authority "Kan", this Monday morning.
In this regard, "Kan" quoted a security official, who was not specified whether American or Israeli, saying that the American plane was accidentally shot down by US Army fire in Kuwait, and not by Iranian fire.
Documentation widely spread on social networks showed two American pilots jumping from the plane, where they landed with parachutes in the skies of Kuwait. After the crash of the plane and the safe landing of the pilots, one of the residents of Kuwait was documented trying to hit an American fighter pilot; while circulated clips on networks showed citizens believed to be assisting one of the American pilots who jumped from the plane, transporting him in a car trunk to protect him.
In another image from the network, a second American pilot who jumped from the plane that was hit in the skies of Kuwait is seen accompanied by elements of the local security forces. No injuries were reported in the incident, and the US Army has not yet issued an official comment.
