Israeli Occupation Army Hezbollah Chose Iran Over Lebanon

Khaberni - The commander of the Northern Area in the Israeli Occupation Army, Major General Rafi Milo, announced that the army executed a wide wave of airstrikes across Lebanon, following gunfire from Hezbollah towards Israel.

Milo said that "Hezbollah has chosen the Iranian regime over the state of Lebanon and initiated an attack against our citizens," confirming that the army was prepared for this scenario, and that the party "will pay a heavy price" as a result.

The Lebanese Hezbollah, backed by Iran, announced that it launched rockets and drones at Israel on Sunday night Monday, in response to the assassination of the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

A Lebanese medical source also reported that 10 people were killed in the Israeli strikes that targeted the southern suburbs of Beirut at dawn on Monday.

Milo added that the Israeli forces are "prepared both defensively and offensively," sending a message to the residents of northern Israel that the army will continue to protect them from the frontline, and that military deployment has been significantly enhanced on the border, with readiness to accommodate additional forces if needed.

He affirmed in this context: "We will not evacuate you."

The commander of the Northern Command stated that shortly after the gunfire from Hezbollah, and according to prior planning, Israel began executing a first broad wave of strikes in Beirut and southern Lebanon, targeting leaders in the party, command headquarters, and infrastructure.

He also pointed out that the army is working on evacuating residents in southern Lebanon "with their safety in mind" in preparation for launching additional attacks, noting that military operations are still ongoing, and that "the intensity of force will escalate."

The statement was accompanied by photographed documentation of the Northern Command leader inside the operations room, along with pictures from a situation assessment session at the command headquarters.
