Khaberni - This Monday morning, the official Israeli Broadcasting Corporation "Kan" reported the crash of an American F-15 fighter jet in the skies of Kuwait, confirming the survival of its pilots who managed to eject with parachutes before it went down.
According to information obtained by the agency from an unnamed security official, the aircraft was hit by friendly fire accidentally issued by the American military in Kuwait, not due to an Iranian assault.
Video clips circulated on social media show the moment the pilots ejected and landed in Kuwaiti territory with their parachutes, before local security forces took over their protection. Recordings also documented an attempt by a citizen to attack one of the pilots, mistakenly thinking he was Iranian, while other clips showed citizens helping one of the pilots and transporting him in a vehicle for protection.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident, and as of now, no official statement from the American military regarding the circumstances of the aircraft's fall has been issued.
