Jordan summons the Iranian Embassys Chargé dAffaires in Amman and delivers a strong protest message

Khaberni - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates summoned today the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Amman and communicated to him a strong protest message to his government concerning the attacks targeting Jordanian territory and other brotherly Arab countries, condemning these acts as a blatant violation of sovereignty, a glaring breach of international law and the United Nations Charter, and an unacceptable escalation that threatens the safety of citizens and regional and international peace and stability.

The Ministry spokesman, Ambassador Fouad Al-Majali, stated that the Ministry informed the Chargé d'Affaires of the immediate necessity to stop the attacks targeting Jordan, respect its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and abide by international law and principles of good neighborliness.

Al-Majali affirmed that the Ministry decisively informed the Chargé d'Affaires that Jordan would take all available and necessary steps to protect the safety of its citizens and its security and sovereignty.
