Khaberni - President Donald Trump did not dismiss the possibility of suspending military strikes on Iran if Tehran shows readiness to meet American demands within the framework of negotiations.
In response to a question from "NBC" about the possibility of suspending strikes, Trump said: "I don't know... if they are able to satisfy us. They have not been able to do so yet."
Trump revealed the death of three American soldiers and the injury of five others during the military operation against Iran, in the first official acknowledgment of human losses. He said: "We expect casualties in such (operations). We have three (deaths), but we expect (more) victims, but in the end, it will be a great deal for the whole world."
The U.S. Central Command had earlier announced the deaths and injuries without specifying the location of the incident.
This statement comes at a time when the region is experiencing unprecedented military escalation, with the United States and Israel launching strikes on Iranian targets, including the capital Tehran, on Saturday, resulting in the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and dozens of leaders. Iran, in turn, is launching retaliatory strikes on Israel and American bases in the region.
