Khaberni - The Civil Aviation Authority in Iraq announced today, Sunday, the extension of the closure of Iraqi airspace to all flights for 24 hours amid developments and regional tensions in the area.
The authority said in a statement, "It has decided to extend the closure of the country's airspace to incoming, departing, and transiting aircraft temporarily and as a precaution until twelve noon tomorrow, Monday, indicating that the decision comes as part of the precautionary measures aimed at ensuring the safety of air navigation and passengers in light of current developments.
