AlKhashman Jordan is not a battlefield and will not be a platform for anyone

Khaberni - The head of the Union and Reform Parliamentary Bloc, Representative Captain Zuhair Mohammed Al-Khashman, stated that the region is witnessing a dangerous military escalation and clear attempts to redraw the maps of influence by force, imposing a clear national stance that does not tolerate interpretation or complacency, affirming that the security and sovereignty of Jordan are an absolute red line, not to be approached or dragged into any conflict that does not serve its supreme national interest.

Al-Khashman said that Jordan will not be an arena for settling scores, nor a corridor, platform, or a card in anyone's hand, under any circumstances, emphasizing that the Jordanian decision is sovereign and independent, not imposed or dictated, and that the kingdom will not engage in wars that do not represent it politically, economically, or militarily.

He added that the current stage is among the most dangerous stages that the region has gone through in years, and that any attempt to drag Jordan into a battle that does not concern it will be met with a decisive national rejection, as Jordan's supreme interest comes above all alignments and axes.

Al-Khashman affirmed the Union and Reform Parliamentary Bloc’s absolute and steadfast support for the positions of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein, and their confidence in his political wisdom in managing the most complex regional files, emphasizing that the Hashemite leadership has always proven that the Jordanian decision is independent, steadfast, and not subject to pressure or polarization.

He also expressed Jordan's full solidarity with the Gulf states in facing any threat that affects their security and stability, stemming from the unity of the Arab destiny, affirming that the stability of the Gulf is part of the Arab national security system.

Al-Khashman stressed that our armed forces - the Arab Army, and our security agencies, are at the highest level of readiness to protect the borders of the homeland and its sovereignty, affirming that any threat to Jordan's security is a threat to all Jordanians, and the response to it is national unity and rallying around state institutions.

Al-Khashman concluded his statement by affirming that Jordan is a state with established institutions, knowing how to protect its decision-making, borders, and community, and that national coherence is its true shield against any challenge, calling for the highest levels of awareness and discipline and not to be swayed by rumors or attempts to weaken the internal front.

He said: “Jordan will remain strong, secure, stable, with its Hashemite leadership, its army, and its people, and no one will be allowed to tamper with its security or test its patience.”
