Khaberni - The Supreme Lebanese Council for Defense confirmed during its meeting on Sunday at Baabda Palace that the state alone has the decision of peace and war.
The council concluded its meeting chaired by President Joseph Aoun, where it issued a statement praising the discipline among Lebanese and the "consensus on the constants of which the most important is loyalty to Lebanon", wishing the media to act with a spirit of responsibility.
The council reassured the availability of all necessary resources including food, medicine, and energy, and requested the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation to keep Lebanese airspace open.
The Lebanese council tasked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants to maintain contact with Lebanese dispersed around the world.
