The Qatari Ministry of Interior announced the registration of 8 new injuries today, Sunday, bringing the total number of injuries since the beginning of the Iranian attack on the state to 16, along with limited material damage in various areas, based on incoming reports and field results.
The Ministry confirmed in a statement today that the security authorities and civil defense teams, in coordination with the state's relevant agencies, immediately began their procedures according to the approved response plans, ensuring public safety, service continuity, and readiness to handle any emergencies, within the framework of ongoing monitoring of field developments.
Furthermore, the Ministry announced that the civil defense dealt with a minor fire in the industrial area today, Sunday, resulting from debris from an intercepted missile. The statement, released by the Qatar News Agency "QNA", confirmed that the minor fire did not result in any injuries.
The Ministry clarified that the activation of early warning and alert procedures only occurs when there is a need for immediate additional preventive measures, in order to maintain public safety.
The Ministry urged everyone to immediately comply with official instructions upon their issuance, to stay at home and not to go out unless absolutely necessary, to avoid approaching any unknown objects or remains and report them immediately, to give right of way to ambulances, civil defense, and patrol vehicles, and to avoid heading to accident sites.
The Ministry also emphasized the importance of obtaining information from official sources only and refrained from circulating rumors or sharing any photos or clips of the attack's aftermath, to avoid legal liability.
The Ministry confirmed that the specialized security authorities within the ministry continue their work with full readiness around the clock, in coordination with the relevant agencies, enhancing the speed of response, containing the effects, and ensuring the safety of the community.
