Khaberni - The National Center for Security and Crisis Management clarified the meanings of the approved warning sirens in Jordan, indicating the differences between the two tones used in emergencies.
The Center explained that the first tone consists of three intermittent tones, each lasting thirty seconds, indicating the occurrence or imminent occurrence of danger.
As for the second tone, it consists of a continuous tone lasting one minute, indicating the danger has passed.
The Center added that the launch of the warning sirens is followed by the broadcasting of a voice message explaining the reasons for their activation.
