Details of the Transitional Phase in Iran after the Deaths of Khamenei Bakpour and Shamkhani

Khaberni - Some features of the transitional phase in Iran emerged on Sunday, while Tehran confirmed the death of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in the unprecedented attack initiated by the United States and Israel on Iran, which responded by targeting Israel and several Arab countries, while the Revolutionary Guards vowed a "severe punishment" for those responsible. Iran also announced the deaths of the Revolutionary Guard commander Mohammad Bakpour and the advisor to the Iranian Supreme Leader's Republic of Iran Ali Shamkhani.

Iranian television announced the deaths of Mohammad Bakpour, who took over the leadership of the Revolutionary Guards in June (June) last year during a war that lasted 12 days, and Ali Shamkhani, who was one of the top security officials in Iran, stating that they were killed on Saturday in American-Israeli strikes on Tehran.

Moreover, three Iranian officials, including President Masoud Bazshkian, will oversee the transitional phase in Iran after the death of the Supreme Leader, as announced on Sunday by Mohammad Mokhber, one of Ali Khamenei's advisors, according to the official television.

Mokhber said that this trio includes Bazshkian, the head of the judiciary Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejehi, and a lawyer from the Guardian Council of the Constitution.

National mourning was declared for 40 days. Earlier, Iranian media reported the deaths of members of Khamenei's family.

The American President stated on his social network, Truth Social, "Khamenei, one of the most evil individuals in history, has been killed."

He added that the Iranian people now have the "greatest" opportunity to regain control of their country.

Trump wrote on his social network "Truth Social": "The country was significantly destroyed, even erased, in just one day. Nevertheless, the intensive and precise bombardment will continue without interruption throughout the week or as long as necessary to achieve our goal."

Israel announced on Saturday morning the initiation of the attack on Iran, which it called "Lion's Roar". Washington then declared that it was a large-scale joint operation with Israel called "Furious Rage" and stated that it aimed to overthrow the Iranian regime. Iran responded by launching barrages of missiles towards Israel and Gulf states where several American bases are located, as well as Iraq and Jordan.

The American President announced that the goal of the attack was to destroy Iran's military capabilities and overthrow its regime and its "imminent threats" to the United States and its allies.

This operation is the first of its kind in the Middle East since the invasion of Iraq in 2003, and it was prepared for by Washington by marshaling massive naval and air forces in the region.

Tehran responded by launching missiles towards Israel and Arab countries that host American bases, considering them "legitimate targets".
