Khaberni - The Governor of Jerash, Malik Kharisat, announced on Saturday the opening of a main operations room operating around the clock, chaired by the governor and attended by administrative rulers, to enhance readiness and ensure speedy communication and response to citizen observations and needs.
Kharisat added in statements to the "Al-Mamlaka" channel that the opening of the operations room was based on the directives of the President of the Supreme Council for Civil Defense and the Minister of Interior, aiming to enhance coordination among various concerned agencies, emphasizing that the security institutions and official bodies operate around the clock to safeguard the citizens and serve them, and to preserve their properties, ensuring the continuity of services without interruption.
Kharisat noted that public life in the governorate is proceeding normally, and there is no justification for rushing to markets or stocking up on supplies, relying on the citizens' awareness and understanding of the sensitive phase, and their trust in the measures taken.
Kharisat urged the necessity of obtaining information from its official and reliable sources, and not being swayed by rumors or exaggerating matters through social media, as this can negatively impact community security, affirming that the citizen is a main partner in the security system, and is highly responsible at the national level.
