Khaberni - His Majesty King Abdullah II and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi discussed, during a telephone call on Saturday, the serious developments in the region.
His Majesty reiterated, during the call he received, his condemnation of the attacks that the kingdom’s territories had suffered, affirming Jordan's continued implementation of all measures to maintain its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens.
For his part, President Al-Sisi expressed Egypt’s full solidarity with Jordan and its support, pointing out his country's rejection and strong condemnation of aggression against the sovereignty, security, and stability of Arab states.
The two leaders emphasized the necessity of respecting the sovereignty of states and resorting to dialogue and diplomatic channels to resolve tensions, with His Majesty affirming the need to intensify Arab efforts to mobilize an effective international stance that contributes to de-escalating the existing tensions.
