Khaberni - Actress Mai Ezz El Din entered intensive care after she suffered a sudden health issue that necessitated her transfer to the hospital for an emergency surgical intervention.
According to her husband, Ahmed Taimour, her condition has significantly worsened over the past few days, prompting doctors to make a swift decision to perform surgery to save her health.
Taimour explained in an Instagram post that the crisis began approximately two weeks before Ramadan when his wife felt severe malaise requiring hospitalization, before her condition recently worsened and underwent surgery a few hours ago.
He pointed out that she is currently receiving intensive medical care in the intensive care unit under close monitoring from the treating team, requesting the public to pray for her speedy recovery.
Mai Ezz El Din celebrated her marriage to Ahmed Taimour Khalil on November 11, 2025, in a private family ceremony attended only by close relatives, including actor Ahmed El Saadany, where she announced the news at that time by posting photos from the marriage contract ceremony, with a message expressing her hope for a new life characterized by stability and success.
