Kuwait announces it is dealing with rockets in its airspace

Khaberni - Kuwait announced on Saturday that the army is dealing with rockets in its airspace.

The Kuwaiti news agency "KUNA" quoted the General Staff of the Army stating that "the air defense systems addressed airborne rockets detected in the airspace in line with standard operational procedures and the customary rules of engagement."

The Kuwaiti Civil Aviation Authority announced the suspension and cancellation of all flights from Kuwait to Iran until further notice.

It noted that the suspension was due to the current conditions in the region and the resulting complete closure of Iranian airspace.

It explained that some other flights might be affected as their previous routes relied on crossing Iranian airspace.

Israel announced on Saturday that it launched a "preventive" attack against Iran, while the Iranian Fars news agency reported three explosions in central Tehran.

The Israeli Home Front Command also announced, following the activation of alerts across the country, that "due to the security situation, please identify the safest place near you, install the Home Front Command app, and avoid unnecessary travel. Continue to follow instructions and stay updated through official channels."
