Khaberni – The U.S. State Department stated that no American citizen should travel to Iran for any reason.
The department added that it reiterates its call for Americans currently in Iran to leave immediately.
The U.S. State Department announced that it has designated Iran as a state sponsor of unlawful detention, urging the Iranian regime to stop taking hostages and to release all detained Americans in Iran.
