Increase in the Number of Aircraft at a Saudi Base Hosting US Forces

Khaberni - Satellite images have shown an increase in the number of military support aircraft, including refueling planes, over four days this month at a Saudi airbase used by the US military, at a time when Washington is boosting its forces in the region amid tense relations with Iran. High-resolution satellite images taken on February 21 show at least 43 aircraft at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, which has hosted US forces for decades, compared to 27 aircraft seen in an image taken on February 17.

In this context, images taken today, Friday, by satellites of the Chinese company Mizar Vision, and circulated by various media including Israeli, show four American "F 22" fighters on the takeoff runway at Ovda Airport near Eilat in the south. This coincides with the approach of the American aircraft carrier "Gerald Ford" closer to the coasts of Haifa, amid varying estimates for its arrival time. In addition to the American movements at sea and in the air, and the deployment of its defensive and offensive systems in Israel, Washington continues to push more troops into its main ally, which it incites to launch an aggression on Iran.
