Khaberni - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met today, Friday, with the leaders of the armed forces, where he congratulated them on the anniversary of the victory over Israel on the tenth of Ramadan, and discussed regional developments.
According to the spokesperson for the Egyptian presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the meeting coincided with "Egypt's and the armed forces' celebrations of the anniversary of the victories of the tenth of Ramadan," indicating the presence at the meeting of Major General Ashraf Salem Zaher, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, and Major General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, and the leaders of the main branches.
He mentioned that the meeting addressed a number of topics and issues of importance on both international and regional levels, also showcasing the tasks undertaken by the armed forces to support the pillars of Egyptian national security on all strategic directions.
According to the spokesperson, El-Sisi expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the armed forces to protect the nation and safeguard its sanctities, noting his congratulations to the armed forces on the occasion of the anniversary of the victories of the tenth of Ramadan.
