Khaberni - The Norwegian News Agency "NTB" reported, quoting Oslo police, the extension of the detention of Marius Borg Hoiby, the son of the Crown Princess of Norway, who is being held on charges of rape.
NTB quoted Andreas Krosvik, head of the investigation unit: "If a suspect is arrested during a session, they usually remain in detention for up to seven weeks after the session ends."
The last hearing is scheduled for March 19, and meanwhile, a ban has been extended preventing Hoiby from contacting one of his former girlfriends until September, according to "NTB".
In the trial, Hoiby faces charges of rape and sexual assault on several women. It is alleged that he committed some of these acts while the victims were sleeping, and photographed them during these incidents.
