Khaberni  - A Jordanian ministerial delegation continued its meetings in the Spanish capital Madrid, as part of the wide economic and investment movement in Europe, to enhance economic partnerships and investment cooperation.

The delegation included the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, Minister of Investment Tareq Abu Ghazaleh, the Kingdom’s Ambassador to Spain Raghad Al-Saqqa, and the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Investment Zaher Al-Qatarneh.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Investment today, the delegation held a series of high-level meetings with Spanish government officials, major economic and business institutions, and private sector representatives.

The delegation met with the Spanish Minister of Economy, Trade and Business Carlos Quierpo Caballero, and the State Minister for Commerce Amparo Lopez Senovilla, where they discussed ways to enhance economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.

The delegation also met with José Luis Bonet, President of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce responsible for industry, trade, and investment, Marta Blanco, President of the International Relations Committee at the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE), and Daniel Calleja, Director of the European Commission Representation in Spain.

The delegation showcased the main investment opportunities in the Kingdom, particularly in the sectors of renewable energy, green hydrogen, water, infrastructure, and technology, alongside emphasizing the competitive investment environment, incentives for investment, and support for long-term partnerships.

This movement is part of a continuous government effort to establish the Kingdom's position as a reliable partner and a regional hub for attracting quality investments, laying the groundwork for a strong start to the upcoming Jordanian-European investment conference on April 21.
