Khaberni - Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool star, is stirring speculation about ending his career with the team this summer.
"Liverpool.com" reported that it is clear that Liverpool did not get the expected performance from Mohamed Salah compared to the value of his contract after ten months, especially since the Egyptian Pharaoh earns the highest wage in Liverpool, receiving more than half a million dollars weekly.
According to the source, there are three potential destinations for him at the end of the season.
1- Saudi League:
Saudi league clubs attempted to sign the former Roma star in 2023, and Salah is expected to receive the most attention from Roshn League.
Liverpool had rejected an offer from Saudi club Al-Ittihad Jeddah of nearly $200 million to sign Salah three years ago, but he remains linked to a move to Saudi Arabia.
2- Moving to the Italian league:
Salah’s return to the Italian league presents an attractive option if he still aspires to compete at the highest levels, and the salary would pose a significant barrier as he would not receive a wage comparable to his current salary at Liverpool.
Salah had delivered impressive performances with Roma before joining Liverpool and the Italian giant has a chance to qualify for the Champions League next season.
3- American league:
The American soccer league association has encouraged many prominent players to move there, with Lionel Messi of Inter Miami being the most prominent over the past two decades.
Mohamed Salah could move to the American league where he has been linked with joining several clubs such as San Diego or Inter Miami, and it would be interesting to see how many clubs are keen to bring the Egyptian star.
Mohamed Salah's performance has notably declined with Liverpool this season, which has led the 33-year-old to sit on the bench in some matches amidst the fluctuating season the English club is experiencing.
