Khaberni - The "Masrawy" site reveals new details in an incident where an agricultural engineer with a car bearing a sticker containing the Israeli flag ran over some pedestrians in the Kerdasa area.
A widely shared video documents the chase by the residents of Kerdasa of the suspect "A.A.", aged 34, after he attempted to flee the area, causing damage to a number of private cars and motorcycles.
Initial investigations revealed that the incident began following a verbal altercation between the suspect and the owners of a clothing store, due to their refusal to allow him to park his car in front of the store while he was at a nearby telecommunications company branch.
The dispute escalated into a verbal exchange, before the engineer got into his car, which bore the controversial sticker, and attempted to flee.
The suspect became agitated, tried to speed away, and ended up hitting several pedestrians, before the locals managed to stop him and hand him over to the Kerdasa police station.
The department detained the suspect and the car, as well as papers found inside the vehicle that deal with what is known as "alternative tourism". The public prosecution is conducting investigations to determine the circumstances of the incident and take the necessary legal actions.
