Amr Saad reveals why his brother Ahmed missed singing the theme song for Efraj

Khaberni - Egyptian artist Amr Saad continues to lead the dramatic scene in the Ramadan 2026 season with his series "Efraj," which caused wide controversy not only because of its events and directorial frames, but also due to the behind-the-scenes work, and the absence of his brother, artist Ahmed Saad, from performing the series’ theme song.

Saad revealed the reasons for not collaborating with his brother Ahmed in singing the theme song of the series "Efraj," affirming that their artistic relationship is based on creative needs and not familial ties.

Saad explained in recent media statements that the interaction between him and his brother on set is governed by the logic of professional artistry, commenting, "We are two artists each with his own value, we are not brothers in the workplace."

Amr indicated that the current season witnessed a radical change in artistic vision, compared to recent years, as director Ahmed Khaled Moussa preferred to rely on scoring music instead of the traditional vocal theme song.

Saad expressed strong enthusiasm for this idea, wishing to present a different visual and auditory experience than what he had offered in previous years.

On the echo side, the series "Efraj" received exceptional praise from Tamer Hosny, who expressed his admiration for the technical level of the work.

Through the "Story" feature on his official Instagram account, Tamer shared a clip from the series, commenting with enthusiastic words: "What is this greatness and these solid frames?.. Congratulations my dear, you all are amazing."

The supportive praises did not stop at the Egyptian level, but also extended to include Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred, who made sure to support his friend Amr Saad via his official account, describing him as "always distinguished and sparkling," in a clear reference to the popular success the series achieves across the Arab world.

The events of the series unfold in an exciting social drama framework, about a man's journey to regain his freedom and dignity after a series of legal and social crises that put him directly in confrontation with evil characters combining wealth and influence.

Alongside Amr Saad, several Egyptian artists participate in the series, including: Tara Emad, Hatem Salah, Abdel Aziz Mekhyoun, Sama Ibrahim, and Jihad Hossam Eddin, written by Ahmed Halaba, Mohamed Fawzi, and Ahmed Bakr, directed by Ahmed Khaled Moussa, and produced by Sadek El Sabah.
