Khaberni - After much anticipation and speculation, Helmy Abdel Baqi, the agent of the Egyptian Musical Professions Syndicate, revealed the identity of the famous masked singer "Toilet".
Helmy Abdel Baqi said during a TV program last night that "Toilet" is the rapper Mohamed Khafaji, noting that the syndicate needs to see him before issuing him a membership card. Abdel Baqi said, "The syndicate must see him to issue him the card, and when he came and revealed his truth, it was delightful.. and he is Khafaji".
It is noted that "Toilet" is a singer known for wearing a mask while singing, influenced by the star Amr Diab in his melodies and clothes.
This influence was clearly visible in his music video "Habibi Lei," in which he appeared wearing clothes similar to "Al-Hadaba" in the movie "Ice Cream in Gleem," and using the same bicycle with the red box that was used in the movie.
For two years, thousands of Egyptians speculated about the true identity of "Toilet," wondering if it was Amr Diab's son or one of the known rap artists, or just a new young singer using this trick to attract attention.
