Khaberni - The health and professional control teams in the Greater Amman Municipality destroyed 4882 liters of Ramadan juices unsuitable for human consumption during the first week of the blessed month of Ramadan.
They issued 752 warnings, recorded 84 violations against offenders, and received 94 food samples for detailed laboratory testing to ensure the safety and compliance of the content with standards.
The health and professional control teams also conducted inspection rounds on establishments and stalls displaying Ramadan juices and food products to ensure compliance with approved health requirements. These included visits to 256 stalls selling juices and food products, where 218 stalls were relocated due to non-compliance with public health conditions.
The Greater Amman Municipality confirms its ongoing execution of inspection rounds
during the blessed month of Ramadan, to address any violations that may affect the health of citizens and the safety of their food, ensuring that owners of establishments and stalls comply with the health regulations and instructions issued by it, urging citizens to avoid purchasing from untrusted sources or those lacking in health requirements
