Yasmin Abdelaziz resorts to a Quranic verse to respond to critics of her series And We Forget What Was

Khaberni - In a puzzling and controversial act, the actress Yasmin Abdelaziz posted through her private account on "Facebook" a Quranic verse in response to critics of her new series "And We Forget What Was" that is being aired during the current Ramadan season.

Yasmin Abdelaziz wrote the Quranic verse: "But they plan, and Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners."

Yasmin co-stars in the series "And We Forget What Was" with several stars, notably: Sherine Reda, Khaled Sarhan, Mohamed Lotfy, Edward, Cynthia Khalifa, Menna Fadali, Engy Kiwan, Mahmoud Hafez, Mahmoud Yassin, Ihab Fahmy, Lina Sophia, Elham Wagdi, and it is written by Amr Mahmoud Yassin and directed by Mohammed Al-Khabiry. The events revolve around a famous artist named "Jalila" who finds herself a target, and amid the surrounding dangers, "Badr" is assigned to protect her, especially since he was formerly a martial arts player, and as the danger increases, duty becomes desire and love.

Yasmin Abdelaziz had posted through her private account on "Instagram" a video in which she sparked controversy, appearing in it while repeating the words of the singer Bousy's song "I Have a Question", especially the part talking about treachery and poor choices.

Yasmin in the video said: "I have a question, should I ask or not... Why we never get as good as our intentions... We lived but we did not really live... We loved people but they were not worth it... Even you, oh fate, did not wait for us... As if you sit only in places we do not go."

The video ignited comments from her followers who prayed that God would give her as per her good intentions.
