Khaberni - Recently, the artist Mai Omar was grieved by the death of her father, when her husband, director Mohamed Sami, announced the death in a post on his personal "Facebook" account, saying: "Verily we belong to Allah, and verily to Him do we return, my wife's father Omar Badr Abu Hani is in the mercy of Allah, we ask you for the Fatihah and prayers".
He added: "I testify that he was a respectful, well-mannered, kind-hearted man, I saw nothing from him but goodness and love, and the funeral prayer at the Police Mosque in Sheikh Zayed today after the Asr prayer".
Mai Omar stirs controversy with an apology message
Mai Omar had previously caused controversy on social media with an apology message she posted on her personal "Instagram" account to her audience before the broadcast of episode seven of the series "The Lady Mona Lisa", participating in the current Ramadan drama race, following a dramatic escalation and scenes described as "harsh" and filled with difficult emotions, in a move that generated widespread interaction among the series followers who expressed their impact by the previous events and their anticipation of what the work will bring of new surprises.
In her post, Mai Omar wrote: "I apologize in advance for the harshness of episode 7", and she attached her message with a "hashtag" bearing the name of the series "The Lady Mona Lisa", indicating clearly that the episode contains very harsh dramatic developments.
Mai confirmed in her response to the followers' comments that the events of the episode carry extremely difficult emotions, which prompted her to offer a preemptive apology to the audience, especially in the light of the escalation of dramatic tension during the last episodes.
