Embezzlement of 3 Million Euros from Lewandowskis Real Estate Deal

Khaberni -  Spanish media reported that a court in Mallorca issued a two-year prison sentence for a woman convicted of embezzling more than three million euros from the proceeds of selling a luxury home owned by Polish star Robert Lewandowski.

Barça Universal's account on X reported from Mundo Deportivo that in one of the most notable financial cases related to the world of football recently, the controversy regarding a financial scandal in a real estate deal involving the Barcelona striker was settled.

It explained: "According to details revealed in the case, the accused, who held an administrative position, transferred large sums from the value of the deal to accounts unrelated to the concerned partners, exploiting her position and the powers granted to her in managing the financial procedures associated with the sale".

The court noted that the transferred amount exceeded three million euros, causing significant financial damage to the affected parties.

It continued: "The judgment was not limited to a prison sentence; the court also ordered the convicted to repay 1.625 million euros to the affected partners, as part of partial compensation for the losses they incurred as a result of the illegal actions".

The judicial body considered that the actions committed were characterized by bad faith and exploitation of trust, which necessitated issuing a deterrent sentence reflecting the severity of the offense.

It emphasized that the case garnered widespread interest in sports and economic circles, due to its link with star Robert Lewandowski, which contributed to highlighting the crisis and the importance of governance and financial oversight in major real estate deals, especially those involving public figures.
