Khaberni - More products were recalled from the markets in Germany due to suspicions of traces of asbestos in sand-filled toys.
The consumer product warning site reported yesterday, Wednesday, that affected items include stretchy rubber toy dolls that were sold nationwide in many stores.
The recall includes a toy doll known as "Booferts," which may contain stuffing material with asbestos. Consumers are urged to immediately stop using these products and return them to the place of purchase.
The statement warned that if the product is damaged or torn, the stuffing material could leak out and pose a health risk when inhaled.
These goods were distributed through branches of a toy store chain and may have been sold in many German states. Authorities advised buyers to immediately remove these dolls from children's reach and not to use them again.
