Khaberni - Real Madrid defender, Raul Asensio, suffered a very strong injury during the match between the Royals and Benfica this Wednesday evening, in the second leg of the qualifiers for the Champions League round of 16.
At the 70th minute, a violent collision occurred between Camavinga and Asensio, causing both to fall dramatically, quickly raising concerns.
Camavinga recovered quickly, but Asensio remained on the ground, appearing to suffer from a severe neck injury.
Asensio immediately received medical attention and was placed on a stretcher, after a neck brace was fitted before he was transported away.
Immediately, Real Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa made two substitutions, with Asensio and Camavinga being replaced by Alaba and Mastantonio.
The severity of the injury is not yet clear, but the sight of his exit in this manner suggests he might be away from the fields for a period that won't be short.
