Khaberni - The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah suspended 3 Umrah companies after identifying violations related to their failure to provide housing services for pilgrims in accordance with the approved contractual programs. The ministry confirmed that it immediately began, in cooperation with relevant entities, to take legal actions against the external agents contracted with those companies.
The ministry clarified that it had observed groups of pilgrims arriving in the kingdom without the pre-documented housing stipulated in their contractual programs, in a clear violation of the regulations and instructions governing the services for Umrah pilgrims and visitors of the Prophet's Mosque. The ministry obligated the violating companies to immediately secure housing for all affected pilgrims.
The ministry indicated that these measures are part of its ongoing efforts to monitor the compliance of Umrah companies and institutions in precisely executing their contracts, and its commitment to enhancing the quality of services provided to the guests of mercy, in accordance with the directives of the leadership and in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The ministry emphasized that it will not tolerate any negligence or breach of contractual obligations, confirming that the rights of the guests of mercy are a top priority, and that the quality of provided services represents a red line that must not be crossed, urging all Umrah companies to fully comply with the established regulations and instructions.
