Khaberni - The Chief of the Joint Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti, visited on Wednesday the command of Prince Al Hassan Bin Talal’s Armoured Brigade/60, one of the formations of the Central Military Region, where he was received by the regional commander and the brigade’s commander.
Major General Al-Hunaiti listened to a briefing on the progress of executing the assigned duties and tasks, the level of operational and logistical readiness, and future plans aligned with the ongoing development and modernization phases undertaken by the armed forces.
During the visit, the Chief of the Joint Staff inspected several buildings and facilities under construction at the brigade command, reviewed the level of completion and phases of implementation, directed adherence to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and performance speed, and emphasized that these projects are in line with the vision of the general command aimed at providing modern military infrastructure and a comprehensive work and training environment, which enhances the readiness of units and supports their ability to perform various duties with high professionalism.
Major General Al-Hunaiti, along with several senior officers of the armed forces, participated in the Maghrib prayer and broke the fast with the personnel of the Unmanned Systems Group, conveying to them the greetings and pride of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, King Abdullah II, and appreciating their specialized efforts in supporting and assisting various units and formations of the armed forces.
The Chief of the Joint Staff affirmed that developing technical and operational capabilities and providing a suitable environment for performance and achievement represent strategic priorities, enabling the armed forces to continue performing their national mission with efficiency and capability, and maintaining the highest levels of readiness and preparedness to defend the security and stability of the nation.
