Prestiani explodes and makes serious accusations against Real Madrid and UEFA

Khaberni - The Argentine Gianluca Prestiani, a player for Benfica, accused UEFA officials of favoring Real Madrid prior to their Wednesday meeting in the second leg of the qualifiers for the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.

Prestiani shared a picture on his official Instagram showing himself being punched by Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde during the first leg match, saying: "It seems you can throw a punch without the ball and not get penalized, while at the same time someone else can be punished without clear evidence."

The Argentine player added: "They are not even trying to hide it anymore when it comes to Real Madrid, what is happening is disgraceful."

The UEFA Appeals Committee rejected an appeal by Benfica against the provisional suspension of their player Gianluca Prestiani, suspected of racially abusing during his team's match against Real Madrid, which ended with the latter winning by one goal.

French newspaper "L'Équipe" reported that according to this decision, Prestiani will not participate in the return match scheduled for Wednesday evening, knowing that Real Madrid previously won the first leg by a goal to nil.

Argentine player Gianluca Prestiani is accused of calling Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior "monkey", which will prevent him from participating in the return match of the qualifiers for the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.

"L'Équipe" concluded that a final decision in the Prestiani case will be issued in the coming period, and that the Benfica player is now at risk of being suspended for no fewer than 10 matches.
