Saar praises the American Consulate for providing services to settlers

Khaberni -   Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar praised the recent American decision to expand consular services to include the Efrat settlement established on Bethlehem lands in the West Bank.

In a speech delivered by Saar during an event organized by the Knesset Lobby for Israeli-American Relations, on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, Saar emphasized that Israel represents a "gain" for American interests and the "strongest ally" for Washington in the region.

He said, "The benefits that Israel provides for American interests and national security are immense. While there is no better friend and ally to us than the United States in the world, the United States does not have a stronger friend and ally in this region, and perhaps in the world as a whole, than Israel. Israel is a gain to all its allies, especially to the United States."

The Israeli Foreign Minister added: "I would also like to refer to the historic decision taken by the American Embassy to expand its consular services to include Efrat in the West Bank, and to express my appreciation for this step."

This statement confirms what previous sources revealed regarding the direction of the American Embassy in Israel to provide consular services to settlers in the Efrat settlement located on Bethlehem lands in the West Bank.
