Khaberni - Arab Bank has supported the Ramadan activities carried out by the Haya Cultural Center as part of the "Draw a Smile" initiative, within the framework of its ongoing commitment to supporting community initiatives focused on childhood and contributing to enhancing the quality of life for the most needy groups.
The activities targeted 100 boys and girls through a comprehensive program of recreational and educational activities, carefully designed to provide a rich Ramadan experience. The initiative's events included a variety of interactive activities such as indoor games, physical activities, and artistic experiences, in addition to theatrical show segments, and a "treasure hunt" event in organized play areas prepared to ensure the highest standards of safety and organization. The program also featured the organization of a communal suhoor meal and the distribution of gifts to children in a warm Ramadan atmosphere that reflected the spirit of familiarity and solidarity characteristic of the holy month.
Arab Bank volunteers, along with the Haya Cultural Center team, participated in organizing and implementing the events and accompanying the children during various activities, in a step that confirms the bank's commitment to promoting volunteerism culture and instilling principles of community responsibility among its staff.
In her comments on this initiative, Professor Reem Al-Adwan, General Manager of the Haya Cultural Center, emphasized that the "Draw a Smile" initiative was designed this year as a comprehensive events program that integrates entertainment, learning, and social interaction. She noted that cooperation with national institutions like Arab Bank, alongside active community associations, contributes to expanding the reach and maximizing the impact on the benefiting children.
The Haya Cultural Center has been implementing its cultural, artistic, and educational programs aimed at children and adolescents since its establishment in 1976, stemming from its belief in the importance of culture and arts as tools that support psychological and social development of children.
It is worth noting here that Arab Bank adopts a comprehensive and integrated strategy in sustainability and community responsibility that reflects the bank's commitment to enhancing its economic, social, and environmental impact by working closely with various stakeholders to achieve sustainable development.
