Khaberni - Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht Ravanchi said that Tehran is ready to take all necessary actions to reach an agreement with the United States, as a new round of talks between the two countries is about to start.
The Iranian diplomat added that any American attack on Iran would be a "real gamble".
He confirmed that Tehran is ready to reach an agreement with Washington as soon as possible.
He added that if the will exists among the parties, an agreement can be reached as soon as possible, pointing out that the subject of the negotiations is the nuclear file, which has been agreed upon by the parties.
He said: "If the United States attacks us, how do you expect us to remain silent?" adding that their preferred option is to pursue a path of peace.
He continued: "There is no military solution, and instead of sending troops, it is preferable to focus on diplomacy, and if an attack or aggression occurs against us, we will respond according to our defensive plans."
He emphasized that everyone must realize that war might erupt, but ending it is not easy, and that the entire region will suffer as a result of any aggression against Iran.
He concluded by saying: "If the goal of sending forces is to intimidate us, that will not happen."
