Khaberni - The Minister of Education and Education, Azmi Governorate, directed a message to the teachers on the occasion of the "Arab Teacher's Day" which occurs on February 25th each year.
The Governorate stated that teachers are the fundamental pillar of the educational process, upon whom the rise of nations and building of societies depend, and through their knowledge, the features of awareness are formed. In their classes, values are instilled, and through their dedication, the meanings of belonging and loyalty to the homeland and its wise Hashemite leadership are embodied.
He added, "I am pleased to extend to you, on my behalf and on behalf of the educational family, the sincerest feelings of pride and appreciation for your sincere efforts and ongoing dedication in performing your noble educational mission and serving our students, contributing to building the capable Jordanian individual who can create his future with confidence and competence."
The Governorate emphasized that the ministry firmly believes that real investment starts with the teacher, and that the quality of education is inseparable from their professional status, stability, and support.
He explained that based on this belief, the Jordanian government was keen to take a package of supportive measures for the teacher, including providing housing facilities through allocating plots of land at subsidized prices, speeding up the disbursement of all emergency loans, increasing the rates of grants and honors for the children of teachers in higher education institutions, in addition to doubling the numbers of pilgrims designated for the teacher's mission, expanding in professional training and development programs, and improving the school environment and infrastructure, all of which contribute to enabling you to perform your mission perfectly.
He noted that "we see these steps as part of a continuous pathway to enhance the teacher's status, believing in their pivotal role in building generations and shaping the future of the nation."
On this day, the Governorate said that we renew our pride and appreciation for you to continue working in the spirit of partnership and integration for the advancement of education in our beloved Jordan.
