Khaberni - American President Donald Trump revealed on Wednesday that the United States has received more than 80 million barrels of oil from Venezuela since Washington ousted its President Nicolas Maduro.
In his first State of the Union address since starting his second presidential term, Trump said, "We just received more than 80 million barrels of oil from our new friend and partner, Venezuela," adding "American oil production has increased by more than 600,000 barrels per day."
Trump had ordered the arrest of Maduro in January on charges of drug trafficking and other crimes, and since then, has eased the oil sanctions imposed on Caracas in an attempt to boost production.
