Bodø/Glimt secured a historic qualification to the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.
The Norwegian Bodø/Glimt progressed after repeating their victory against the previous edition's runner-up, the Italian team Inter, in the qualifying play-offs to the round of 16 of the most prestigious European cups.
Bodø/Glimt achieved a notable win over their host Inter with a score of two goals to one, the runner-up of the continental championship, on Tuesday at the "San Siro" stadium in the second leg of the qualifying play-offs to the round of 16.
Jens Hauge (58) and Hakon Evjen (72) scored the winning team's goals.
Alessandro Bastoni scored the losing team's goal (76).
The Norwegian team had previously won the first leg with three goals to one in Bodø.
Thus, Bodø/Glimt advanced to the round of 16 for the first time in its history, dominating Inter with an aggregate score of the two legs (5-2).
In the round of 16, Bodø/Glimt will face either Manchester City from England or Sporting from Portugal, awaiting the round of 16 draw that will take place on Friday.
