Black coffee is rich in polyphenols like chlorogenic acid, which reduces oxidative stress and protects collagen from degradation, thereby helping to reduce wrinkles and improve skin elasticity.

Moderate coffee consumption is linked to a decreased risk of cardiovascular diseases and stroke, according to Dr. Lamba, who emphasizes that moderation is the key to benefiting.

Longevity
Coffee improves metabolic efficiency and mimics the effects of moderate calorie restriction, and regular consumption has been linked with lower mortality rates from all causes in large cohort studies.

The Role of Coffee in Weight Loss
A study published in the journal Critical Reviews in Food Science and Nutrition showed that increased caffeine intake is associated with slight but consistent reductions in body weight, body mass index, and fat mass.

A meta-analysis of 13 randomized trials found that caffeine consumers experienced significant improvements compared to those who consumed less or none at all.

Dr. Lamba explained that replacing the daily cup of tea with black coffee can be a simple but effective step to support weight loss and improve the health of the skin and heart, provided one adheres to a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
