Khaberni - The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship announced on Tuesday that the new update for the "Sanad" application includes the addition of a data update request service.
The ministry clarified in a post on its official Facebook page that the service allows users to submit requests for correcting incomplete or inaccurate information in their documents directly within the app, where the request is sent to the relevant authority to work on updating the data according to the approved procedures.
The application saw a simultaneous entry of large numbers of users at the same time at the beginning of the launch of its updated version.
By the end of 2025, the ministry announced the digitization of 80% of government services, which equals 1920 services, and more than two million digital identities have been activated through the Sanad government application.
The government launched the "Sanad" application in February 2020 as part of the fifth implementation package of the government economic program, to support "e-government services and improving the business environment", and several updates were made to the application subsequently to overcome problems it faced at the start of its operation.
