Minister of Islamic Affairs Clinics opened inside AlAqsa Mosque and distributed in the courtyards to serve worshippers

Khaberni - The Ministry of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places equipped clinics inside the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, affiliated with the Arab Health Center, alongside the opening of temporary field clinics distributed in the mosque courtyards, in anticipation of any health emergencies, including specialized doctors and paramedics to serve worshippers during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Minister of Awqaf, Mohammad Al-Khalayleh, during a meeting with journalists at the Government Communication Forum, said that the Jerusalem Waqf Department is under the ministry with all its employees, noting that there are about 800 employees working in Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Islamic Waqf, in addition to the ministry's supervision over 120 mosques in Jerusalem along with a number of other Islamic Waqf properties.

He explained that a comprehensive program has been put in place in Al-Aqsa Mosque for the call to prayer for the five daily prayers, and a daily leadership program for the Isha and Taraweeh prayers, in addition to a program for preaching and recitation.

He pointed out that the ministry carried out maintenance and reconstruction work on the facilities of Al-Aqsa Mosque before the arrival of Ramadan, which included upgrading sound systems and cables, installing awnings at several locations within the mosque courtyards, and providing special tents to protect worshippers from the cold and rain.

Al-Khalayleh added, that the mosque's infrastructure was inspected, and work was done with the mosque guards to organize the entry and exit of worshippers, ensuring ease of movement and flow.
