Khaberni - AC Milan has announced that its English player Ruben Loftus-Cheek underwent surgery following an injury he sustained in the match against Parma on Sunday, during the 26th round of the league.
Milan stated on its official website on Monday that Loftus-Cheek suffered a severe facial injury, resulting in a broken jaw.
Milan added that the player entered the facial and hand surgery department and underwent surgery on Monday, which was successful and aimed at successfully fixing the fracture, noting that Loftus-Cheek is in good health and has already left the hospital.
The Italian club explained that the player's absence might extend up to 8 weeks.
