Jafar Hassan meets with the National Charter Bloc and discusses Social Security Law amendments

Khaberni - Prime Minister Jafar Hassan met on Monday with the National Charter Party bloc, and discussions were held on the topics raised about the draft Social Security Law.

The head of the bloc, Deputy Ibrahim Al-Tarawneh, stated in a release that the bloc members focused on amendments related to early retirement and aging, and conveyed all the citizens' remarks on the draft law to the government.

He explained that the Prime Minister seriously and attentively dealt with these remarks and emphasized that the government is open to all opinions and ideas to produce a law that ensures the highest levels of national consensus, serves the citizens’ interests, and maintains their rights both in the short and long term.

Al-Tarawneh said: "If the draft law is referred to the House of Representatives, it will be extensively discussed within the council to ensure all proposals are carefully studied and any amendments that achieve a balance between the rights of the participants and the sustainability of the Social Security institution are considered, serving the public interest and maintaining the system's robustness."

Al-Tarawneh stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities, and continuing dialogue and coordination to support the effectiveness of joint national action and responsibly address the issues presented.
